The South Africans are among the most optimistic in 2008

The South Africans are among the most optimistic person in the world this year, according to Gallup International Voice of the People 2007 - End of Year Survey.

Believe Nearly half (46%) of the surveyed South Africans that 2008 will be better than in 2007. One third (33%) are pessimistic about next year, while 13% things be the same as last year and 8% undecided are likely.

The countries most optimistic respondents were from Hong Kong, with 71% think that will be better this year than the previous one. Senegal won first place in the world, pessimistic, with 53% believing that 2008 will be worse than in 2007. Other than the pessimists, Greece (48%) and Italy (44%).
